I need prayers for my 4 year old son to start talking in sentences. They want to say that he is Autistic but in my heart I know he is a very smart little boy. Please pray that Joseph's fever breaks and his infection is cleared up by the antibiotics. I also pray that he will feel better when school starts and possibly is well enough to start on time this coming Monday.

For the children given unto our keeping. For their purity of heart, their constant simplicity, their natural and trusting affection, and for the numerous ways they bless us with their gifts. We remember before you, lord, the many children who are denied a fair chance in life, those in our nation and world who suffer from poverty, injustice and fear. In your tender mercy, protect the children who are runaways, homeless, in institutions or jails. Encourage and strengthen those who are differently challenged in mind or body. Help and sustain those children who today will not have enough to eat, who are born at risk, are sick and those who lack proper health care. For children who are victims or race or class discrimination, poor education, drug or alcohol abuse and hopelessness, we ask that you grant them lives of hope and a future. Defend and protect those children, O God, who daily experience the fear of pain and civil strife. All which we ask in the name of He who took little children into his arms and laid his hands upon them in blessing, your Son, Jesus Christ.
